The Founder
Apols Garmay, a dedicated professional driven by her passion for social entrepreneurship, particularly in the realm of Rural Agriculture.
Throughout her career, she has showcased exceptional leadership skills, successfully leading initiatives both in the Philippines and through collaborations with fellow social entrepreneurs in Indonesia.

Beyond her own endeavors in the agricultural startup sphere, Apols actively engages in volunteer work with organizations like She Leads Southeast Asia, where she focuses on empowering women economically in rural regions such as Northern Samar.
Her diverse interests span social entrepreneurship, the empowerment of women survivors of exploitation and abuse, responsible agricultural practices, and fostering youth involvement.
With a sharp focus on innovation and an unwavering commitment to growth, Apols is dedicated to effecting positive change within her field.
Her professional journey is characterized by her boundless motivation, diverse background, and steadfast dedication to creating meaningful impact within her community and beyond.

2017 - 2019
Forming HMF
The year the idea was conceived. The founder recognized that rural areas had remained largely unchanged and unchallenged by innovation.
2020 - 2021

First Pitching Competition
HMF began participating in pitching competitions, leveraging its public presence to gain visibility and support, and also started reaching out to its first target community to share the opportunity with them.

2022 - 2023
HMF's first community project focused on informing rural women farmers and their partners about their rights and opportunities in agriculture. Through this initiative, we shared new agricultural advancements that they can utilize to increase their earnings.
